Happy Christmas Everyone!!
Ill leave you with my favorite Christmas song and some shots of what I have been doing instead of sewing for the last couple weeks.
My family went to see the Phoenix Symphony perform Handel’s Messiah. It is just about the best way to get into the holiday mood.
She also took this lovely picture of the sky outside of our house.
I spent a few hours of my day with cookie dough. I rolled ginger snaps and then cut out mountains of sugar cookies! its always fun for the first tray or two but then it gets a bit old! I also spent what felt like forever waiting to get the H1N1 and seasonal flu shots… I am now required to get them for nursing school and my little arm is quite sore.
My family always does the present part of the holiday on Christmas Eve and this year I feel like I made out like a bandit!
Tomorrow morning my sis, dad, and I will be heading out bright and early to help some members of our church hand out 1,000 backpacks to the homeless. It should be a fun day!
Well I hope everyone of you has an equally wonderful holiday surrounded with friends, family, and tasty food!!
