Look what I found outside my door when I came home from class.
Its part of the prize from the A-Plus A-line Skirt contest… still waiting for the best part, the new sewing machine. The box had the new pattern book “Twinkle Sews“. Im so excited to pop the CD-Rom into my computer and start on some of these adorable patterns.
From Coats & Clark I received a bunch of various colored thread and I even got an amazing pomegranate gift set from Whish. The box had three large pieces of fabric. This one is my favorite. Its a super soft satin with an adorable print with owls and spider webs.
I’ve also been thinking of some ideas for this here my blog.
Starting with the pattern exchange/giveaway I would like to start on my blog. There would have to be some rules but I think it could be really fun. I would be willing to give the patterns I have away for free and ship them to readers. In exchange I would ask for readers to subscribe to my blog, link to here or to my etsy shop, or send me patterns in exchange. Readers could do one or all of these things but I would ask that readers only request two patterns without sending me something to exchange. I was thinking I could post about 10 patterns a week maybe on Sundays so I wont be too overwhelmed but this project. I like this idea better than Patternreview because I could be a real part of the distribution and I know how much I love getting patterns in the mail so it might be fun to send them as well. Does this sound like a good idea? Any suggestions to make it better?
I also have plans to start a weekly post on Fridays showing off what I purchased on my Thursday shopping trips at Goodwill. I will try to start that off tomorrow because I had an awesome trip this afternoon.
Tonight I am relaxing my numb and watching the season finale of Project Runway!! Are you going to be watching?
