Sorry its taken me so long to do a post about but Ive had quite the week.
As I was sitting in class this week I noticed that my forearm began to feel numb and ths numbness spread down to my hand and then began traveling up my arm. Of course being in nursing school everyone has an opinion as to what is wrong and my teacher said I should definitely get to the doctor as soon as I could. I did this and had some x-rays taken and my doctor said that the problem is that I have scar tissue from a previous break that required two surgeries and that this scar tissue has wrapper around the nerve and is basically choking it off causing my arm to be completely numb. He has referred me to a orthopedic hand surgeon who will tell me whether I need surgery for sure or not to try to remove the scar tissue from the nerve but I dont see what other choice I have because I dont think I can live long with this dead floppy arm. Im not sure what will happen with school if I need the surgery because I will definitely need time off which is not exactly allowed and Im not sure what I would be able to do at clinical with one hand…. oh geez whats a girl to do?
Well enough of my pity party..
Here’s a quick fix sweater I just fixed and some other projects Ive got planned for while I still have this hand lol
I just pinned down the sides from armpit to hem and sewed a seam…. that easy!
This is my first official project for my Wardrobe refashion pledge.. you can view my post here.
I got a few other dollar finds that need some TLC
You will see some bigger and finished versions of these items hopefully very soon!
